Springs of Life

As my first upload on ArtStation, this will naturally be about a year old, but still one of my favorites. About a 5 hour paint in CSP, playing with rougher textures and getting a feel for a more conceptual look without getting too hung up on rounded edges and finite details. This was a real exercise for me and a favorite subject, a revisit to a character I used to draw a lot but lost touch with.

Who doesn't love prehensile dreadlocks, though?
